“The birth of our daughter didn’t turn out the way I initially wanted. At first I put myself down for giving into the epidural and mourned a completely natural birth. After a couple years I began to realize that her birth was perfect. She came from it, I can’t change it, I wouldn’t change it, I learned from it. With our son’s birth we chose to do it at home with a midwife. I knew I wanted more control then last time and I wouldn’t get that in the hospital. It was a smooth, uncomplicated water birth and it was amazing. Both births were completely different but equally perfect.”
